Once there were three Italian bricklayers. A stranger passing by asked each man the same question, ‘What are you doing?‘
The first man answered irritably, ‘I’m laying bricks!‘
The second man replied, ‘I’m putting up a wall.‘
But the third man said with enthusiasm and pride, ‘I’m building a cathedral.‘
The moral of the story is your attitude determines your altitude.
There will be many periods in one’s life when you will feel despondent, especially in your daily work. But the one thing you CAN control is your attitude. Your attitude can determine whether you see the brick or the cathedral.
