How Proper Snacks Work

We grow, source and package yummy convenient healthy snacks in an earth friendly way and courier them to South African homes and offices on a monthly schedule.

You are welcome to customise your monthly orders by:

We take payments by continuous payment authority. You will be charged as follows:

  • Subscribers will need to pay with a bank activated credit card, which will be debited each month on the day they joined until the subscription is paused or cancelled (for example; 5 January, 5 February, 5 March etc.)
  • Orders will be shipped on or after the day the payment is made. Delivery is 1-4 working days.

Your subscription continues from month to month until you cancel. You can pause or cancel anytime and there are no cancellation fees.

Anyone at the delivery address can accept the delivery. In order for us to prove that delivery of an order has been completed, we do not have to prove that you personally received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery.

We deliver nationwide in South Africa.

Courier deliveries are made Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, so you should always provide a delivery address where there will be an appropriate person to sign for the delivery during these times. If there is no one around to accept the delivery, the courier company will contact the recipient via telephone so that a new delivery day can be arranged.

Good news, delivery is always FREE.

Unfortunately, once payment has been processed your order will be packed and delivered. If you wish to delay the delivery date please contact us. Alternatively, if you know you’ll be away in advanced you can pause your subscription and reactivate on your return.

Yes, our customers can edit their shipping addresses once they have logged into their dashboard. Contact us for more details.

You have the ability to suspend your subscription, and all payments will stop for the period the subscription is suspended.

When your subscription is reactivated, the payment schedule will continue as it did before the subscription was suspended. The payment schedule is not changed based on the amount of time the subscription has been suspended.

For example: if a you sign-up for a monthly subscription product on the 1st of January, then suspend your subscription on February 12th, you will not pay anything until you reactivate it. If you reactivate the subscription on May 22nd, the next payment will be charged on 1st of June, because that is the original billing date the subscription was started.
